2.LPI Preparation Program
LPI ( Language Proficiency
Index) exam is owned by The University of British Columbia (UBC). LPI is
an academic reading and writing test that measures English language
proficiency at the pre-university or pre-college
level. The test mainly focuses
on individual’s grammar skill. An examinee can use LPI score to assess the
entrance requirement to thirty different Canadian
Universities and Colleges.
(Also included practitioner license.) NOTE: All UBC first year students need
to take LPI test for the school’s requirement, but
is not limited to English as
second language students.

3.LET-(Langara College English Test) Preparation Program
Like any
other English assessment test, LET is an in-house exam that assesses
the student’s ability to read, understand, and
write English at the
college/university
level. Student can use LET score to meet the many courses
and program
that require English as prerequisite. The test includes reading and
summarizing
a short prose passage and writing a 400 words essay about one of
the three
topics. The test takes two hours to complete.
*Has been successfully trained a dozen of
students who passed the examination in a very short amounts of
time.
如其他英语评估考试，Langara English Test（简称LET）是用作了解考生英语运用能力的考试。这是一个由蓝加拉学院(Langara College) 所制定的考试，主要测试考生的写作 (Writing) 能力 。考生可以用LET的分数满足修大学英文课程的要求。考试内容包括阅读/文章总结100字和写作400字两部分。考试时间为2小时。
